Taking Control of Kinematic Calculations
The ECM offers an easy integration of SmarPods into existing control environments (e.g. EPICS, TANGO, etc.) without the need of an additional PC. The ECM takes care of kinematic calculations. Commands can be sent in an ASCII-based control language. No driver software is needed on the client side.
Due to its flexible software it is possible to adapt the system to customer requirements.
