SHL Series

SmarAct high-load stages are designed to cope with a wide range of payloads. The mechanical design is based on an actuated wedge which allows an easy adaption to different payload ranges. A separate guideway assures a straight movement along the load direction and allows to integrate any of our encoders for direct position feedback. Stages which are intended for pure vertical motion can be equipped with an additional constant force spring to offset the payload to even higher values. Accordingly, nano-encoded stages which can lift up to 10kg over several millimeter are possible as well as multi-axis systems which offer high blocking forces in all three dimensions.
While offering high payloads, SmarAct SHL stages remain compact and have all the advantages of regular SmarAct stages such as being crash tolerant.
