Software Development Kits (SDKs) are the cornerstone for bridging your own control software with the world of SmarAct Motion products. With every system, SmarAct provides the appropriate Software Development Kits for simple and fast integration of the positioning system into your control environment. Most SDKs offer support for the programming languages C/C++, Python® and C#. Some SDKs also support LabVIEW™.They are supplied with extensive documentation as well as programming examples for all supported languages.

With the SmarActMC software, SmarAct offers a new software interface for controlling SmarAct motion systems. It enables the control of various kinematics with different numbers of degrees of freedom, the control of single axes and manipulators, the virtualization of motion systems and, in combination with the SmarAct ECM 3.1 Controller, closed-loop movements and freely definable motion paths. The SmarActMC SDK includes C/C++, Python and C# interfaces for integration into your own software. Standard application software supplied with the system allows easy control of systems with or without a SmarAct Hand Controller.
