The SOM-MS-808030 is the larger one of SmarAct's microscope stages that offers vertical travel direction. The X and Y-axis travel ranges are 51 mm and 19 mm on the Z-axis. The stage's dimensions are 138 mm in length and width and 43.8 mm in height. Since the SOM-MS-808030 is based on SmarAct's SLC series linear stages, it offers highest closed-loop repeatability and nanometer resolution. The specimen holder is designed for easy specimen changing and can accommodate slides 76 mm long and between 25 and 26 mm wide.

The base plate of the microscope stage is breadboard compatible. Cover plates as well as the stages themselves are highly customizable.
