The mid-size SMARPOD P-SLC-24 is based on sophisticated parallel kinematic design and is able to handle payloads of up to 10 N.

The SMARPOD P-SLC-24 uses the SLC-24 linear stages in an orthogonal orientation, this allows large travel ranges while maintaining a comparatively small footprint. Due to its ability to handle high payloads and its large travel ranges, the P-SLC-24 is one of the most versatile multi-axis positioning systems available. Because it is based on the SLC-24 series stages, it is also available in high and ultra-high vacuum compatible versions. If required, it can be manufactured from completely non-magnetic materials.
