Synchrotrons, Particle Accelerators, Free Electron Lasers, and High Energy Research Facilities all over the world rely on SmarAct nano-positioning solutions because of their reliability, robustness, and accuracy. They can be found at various end stations at beamlines where they are used for complex and high precision sample positioning tasks as well as for tuning monochromator and mirror positions upstream in the beamline.

Our interlinked team of developers, engineers, and designers are specialized and determined to ensure that each positioning solution is tailored to the specific customer project due to the highly demanding and differing application requirements of our customers. This includes solutions for high-, ultra-high vacuum as well as cryogenic environments and applications that  require fully non-magnetic or hard x-ray radiation capable stages.

SmarAct supplies the necessary tools for the entire energy spectrum, from 6 axis goniometers for high energy XRD (SMARGON) down to non-magnetic sample stages for low energy experiments like nARPES or LEEM/PEEM.

SmarAct stages and controllers can be easily integrated into existing control environments like TANGO, EPICS or end-station control software via a sophisticated advanced programming interface (API). EtherCat support is also provided.
